What each tab does
Where AI support meets human judgment.
Trusted Advisor is a workbench, not a chatbot. Each tab is a distinct surface in the workflow — from shaping a fuzzy request to exporting a signed-off memo. Here's what every tab is for and when to reach for it.
New here? Start with Discover for guided framing, or jump straight to Workspace.
Start
Where new sessions begin.
Home
Landing page that orients new visitors and points at the two entry paths: start a session or read a sample memo.
When to use
First visit, or when you want to share the product with someone new.
Discover
Guided wizard that walks you through describing a workflow, naming pain points, and classifying it as recognition, utilization, or creation.
When to use
When the situation is fuzzy and you want help shaping it into a structured intake before opening the workspace.
Decide
Where the thinking and the memo live.
Workspace
The main workbench. Capture the request, attach sources, answer framing questions, and run the advisor through its stages.
When to use
When you already know roughly what you want to think through and prefer the quick path to a memo.
Session summary
The structured memo for the active session: what was heard, missing context, watchouts, recommendation, sources, sign-off.
When to use
After a session is drafted, to review, edit, and route for reviewer sign-off before export.
Memo history
List of past sessions and their memos, with revision history and the ability to reopen any prior decision.
When to use
When you need to find a previous memo, compare revisions, or pick a session back up.
Actions
Tracker for the next steps a memo committed to: owner, due date, status. Closes the loop between memo and follow-through.
When to use
After a memo is signed off, to keep its recommended actions visible and accountable.
Opportunities
Ranks candidate workflows by repetition, risk, business impact, and ease of automation. Produces a numeric score and short explanation.
When to use
When you have several candidate workflows and need to prioritize which one to automate or attack first.
Export
Turns a signed-off memo into a portable artifact (markdown, shareable link) with provenance and disclosure preserved.
When to use
When a memo is final and needs to leave the workbench — sharing with a customer, attaching to a ticket, archiving.
Govern
Guardrails, review, audit — the trust layer.
Guardrails
Defines the safety rules the advisor must respect — what it should refuse, qualify, or escalate.
When to use
When tuning what the advisor will and won't do, or auditing why a response was blocked or qualified.
Review queue
Sessions waiting on a named human reviewer before they can be exported or shared.
When to use
When you're the reviewer triaging incoming sign-off requests, or checking what's pending review.
Evals
Evaluation harness. Replays known scenarios against the advisor to check that responses haven't regressed.
When to use
After changing prompts, guardrails, or scoring logic, to confirm behavior is still consistent.
Audit log
Chronological record of session events: intake, stage transitions, edits, reviewer actions, exports.
When to use
When you need to trace what happened in a session, or evidence that a decision was reviewed.
Reference
Libraries and design references.
Playbooks
Reusable prompts and playbook templates the advisor draws on. Read-only library you can reference or copy from.
When to use
When you want to see how a recurring scenario is normally framed, or borrow language for a new session.
Visual system
Reference for the design tokens, panels, and status indicators that compose every screen.
When to use
When extending the workbench UI or checking that a new screen stays consistent with the rest.
